Urban landscapes of Mexican cities find their personality in the graphic that frames it. Particular elements such as colors, shapes, details, sadows ad textures communicate messages among citizens, as well as become part of their daily life.
This work takes the reader to a journey through Sign Painting in Mexico and Austria, rescuing the value and exercise of this job and the style of this graphic.
The core of this thesis is dedicated to Popular graphics which are a construction of the popular culture and therefore a reflection of a country's own identity.
